Welcome to Brockley Court, a home for the Elderly Mentally Infirm 65 years plus. Set in an idylic country location in Brockley, close to Bristol. We aim to provide all the necessary care and attention for those who wish to spend their retirement in a secure and caring
Brockley Court Home cannot care and accommodate for persons who require nursing care that cannot be managed by Community District Nursing Services.
Moving into a care home can be a sad and difficult choice to make. there is a great concern for losing ones independence, dignity and lifestyle; as well as having to live in unfamiliar surroundings.
We believe that care and services should be planned and delivered in a way that preserves the rights and autonomy of the people in our care and this can only be achieved by considering the complete person.
We aim to give our residents the sort of life they would expect if living on their own or with their families, while at the same time providing them with care and support. We treat all our resident’s as individuals and show the dignity and respect t We usually have 23 residents living at Brockley Court and have at least 2 day care each day through the week. Men and women aged between 65 and 98 years of age living together. It is our aim to have a care plan, which is unique to every individual and which is based on a full assessment of his or her needs, abilities and potential. We then attempt to help each person fulfil his or her potential. All resident needs are met in a friendly and efficient way, we strive to preserve and maintain their dignity, A wide range of activities are organised by staff on a daily basis, residents are also encouraged to pursue their own hobbies and interests.
Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time on any day. We aim to make every residents stay as homely and comfortable as possible. |
